When you've been injured in a motorcycle accident, you want an experienced lawyer to help you get full and fair compensation for your injuries. When you are involved in an accident while riding a motorcycle, even at low speeds with all available safety gear, the injuries sustained can still be serious. As a bicyclist in northern California, you have as much right to the road as any motor vehicle, including cars, trucks, buses, delivery vans and light rails. If you have been injured on a motorcycle because another motorist made a left turn into your path, you want an experienced motorcycle injury lawyer to help you get full and fair compensation for your losses. Under California law, a driver may not change lanes on any road unless the lane change can be completed with reasonable safety, and only after giving an appropriate signal to other drivers. When you’re on a motorcycle, any defect or irregularity in the roadway can put you at risk for serious injury. When you have suffered physical injury or property loss while riding a motorcycle in California, you generally look to the other driver’s insurance company to seek recovery for your losses. You want an experienced lawyer to help you gain full and fair compensation for your losses as a result of other drivers failing to obey traffic signals. We provide comprehensive results-based counsel to individuals who have suffered injury while riding a bicycle. We are Fully Prepared to Aggressively Represent You.

Steve Weber: San Francisco Motorcycle Accident Lawyer

Steve Weber grew up in the New York metro area and received a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University. He then moved to California and began law school at the University of San Francisco on a partial academic scholarship. During his time in law school he was a contributor and editor for the University of San Francisco Law Review and represented his University in the National Moot Court Competition. Steve was also active in politics and was elected to the McAuliffe Honor Society.

He obtained firsthand experience working as a law clerk in San Francisco while still in law school. This gave him insight into the legal system and showed him that individuals who lacked an understanding of the system were in great need of representation. This insight led to a career protecting the rights of individuals wrongfully injured.

In his first professional position, his employer / mentor had suffered a health problem which required Mr. Weber to handle the bulk of the firm’s active cases. He presented an argument before the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in a murder case just weeks of being admitted to the California Bar. Within the next month he tried his first case in the Federal District Court for the Northern District of California. He tried his first jury case in the San Francisco Superior Court three months later.

Steve Weber has tried a number of cases throughout Northern California and the Western states involving individuals injured by motor vehicle accidents, industrial accidents, product liability and more. Aside from personal injury, Steve has experience in securities and medical malpractice litigation.

Outside of the legal profession, he worked at mostly blue-collar/no-collar jobs to pay college and law school tuition. In addition, he served as a military officer both on active duty and in the reserves for more than eight years: Captain, U.S. Army (Infantry).

Mr. Weber is admitted to practice law in all federal and state courts in California as well as the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association.

He has served as a judicial arbitrator for the superior courts of San Francisco and Marin counties and as a commercial arbitrator for the American Arbitration and as a Kaiser medical malpractice party arbitrator.
